We Can Help You Get Into Archery
Beginners’ courses (6 hours) are held over three (usually) consecutive Sunday mornings; each session is for about two hours. Classes are conducted by Instructors accredited by Archery Australia and all of the archery equipment needed for the course is supplied by the Club.
The Club’s Coaches have undergone Working with Children Checks through the SA Government DHS.
Courses are held as often as possible. Subject to clashes with other events, we try to conduct coaching courses bi-monthly.
The cost of the coaching course includes the provision of all equipment for the classes and insurance coverage. (Archery equipment may be available for hire for a limited time, once the course has been completed.)
The variety of equipment and shooting styles is explained. You are encouraged to hold off on buying equipment until you have completed the coaching course. After all, you might then wish to change the direction the sport can take you!
Completing payment online by Credit/Debit card will provide immediate acceptance into the course. (However, if the course is full, you will receive a message that you cannot complete the application (and payment) and will have to choose an alternative starting date.)
On successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to apply for Club membership.

NOTE: 9 years is the minimum age for this course.

We also offer TryArchery sessions – but these are by prior arrangement or as programmed through the year. The fee for a one-hour session is indicated within our Schedule of Fees.
